I don't understand what is so good about this series. By book 5 Plum has learned nothing. She still doesn't carry her gun because she is afraid of it; she has learned nothing about her job; she is still whining about Morelli; she goes on jobs wearing mini-skirts; all her gear is in her purse and she can never get at it; she is face-to-face with a murderous stalker and has his gun trained on his belly but she doesn't shoot him; her diet is crap and she doesn't exercise yet she is said to be thin and fit; she has not grown or developed in any way I can see. I hate books which keep their characters stupid with no learning or character development so they continue to make the same stupid decisions over and over just for the sake of keeping the story going. If she was even incrementally becoming a better bounty hunter and a better human being with increasing discipline and learning I might stay interested but I cannot read about the same incompetent person making the same mistakes and taking the same stupid decisions over and over. What is the attraction to stupidity in Fiction?
