I've read 3 Jesse Stone novels. Actually I'm in the middle of reading the 3rd now. I thought I'd found a new favorite author. Especially love the dialogue. But...........I am already so sick of the endless interplay between Jesse and his ex-wife. OMG. They discuss their relationship and sex lives. And their love for each other. He professes his love for his ex-wife to whomever happens to be his current lover. On an on and on. After a while (3 books) it just becomes sick, sick and unbelievable, sick, sick, boring, repetitive, sick, sick kill her off, please. Dreamstime's comment said what I said only he/she said it better. Love" his cohones-breaking ex-wife who is always willingly nibbling at the border of his life. " Saw one of the movies too. Quite liked it. Liked Tom Selleck. And I've never been a Tom Selleck fan. He is too old for the character in the book but that needn't affect the role he played in the movie.
