A quirky story that had been intended to be a short story for Gaiman's wife, Amanda Palmer, but accidentally turned into a novella. Like many of his works and author talks, he manages to spin yet another intriguing story out of fragments of reality. This would appeal to readers who like folktales, tall tales, and mythology.
