I Hunt Killers is about a boy named Jazz who is son of the worlds most notorious serial characters and he has seen who a serial killer is first hand. Now his father is in jail now, but bodies start showing up in his small town. Jazz needs to work with the cops to find the murderer, while he deals with his own issues and sociopathic thoughts. I personally enjoyed this book very much, the characters have depth and even though this book is about serial killers and at some points it gets kind gruesome, but there is still a funny aspect to the book, like Howie (one of the main characters) who brings constant humour to the book.I also love this book because the mystery pulls you from page to page, trying to find out who the murderer could be and if Jazz will turn out to be a serial killer himself. Plus the writer really knows how to paint a picture (even at though some times he can describe things a little too graphically), you really get a sense of the location the the book takes place and though words you get to see inside the mind of a killer. Most of the book is very dark and at some parts of the book it describes the murdering that happens, so if you are faint of heart and not good with gruesome topics then this would probably not be a good book for you to read. If you like mystery or thriller books then this is a book that you need to have on your bookshelf. I hope you sign this book out next time you visit the Pickering Public Library.
