This 9th studio album by the inimitable BJork, one of the most consistently adventurous artists of our time, is a breakup album (She was with the artist Matthew Barney.), but it avoids the usual cliches. Lathered in gorgeous string arrangements, it's, despite the heavy material, one of her most beautiful records. Bjork is at a point in her career where her only real competition is herself.
