Klein, a Canadian, points out that the middle-class in American is hurting because economic inequality is as great as during the gilded age (which resulted in the Great Depression), but Clinton could not talk about it because she feared losing the millions of dollars in campaign finance from the 1%. Clinton should have more forceful on such topics as a higher minimum wage, improving the Affordable Care Act, stronger, equal pay for women, strong union rights, emphasis on retraining fossil fuel workers for renewable energy jobs, free public university and free post high school vocational job training, and elimination of the 15% tax rate for hedge funders, etc. Instead, who knows what she stood for.
