Rising and Falling: Insider Tales of Businesses and Start-Ups

Toxic workplace culture, charismatic "visionaries," and cult-like behavior are plagues of the business world. They are also wildly entertaining to read about. Through these memoirs and journalistic narratives, get a glimpse of the rise, continued rise, or fall of several familiar companies and start-ups. Readers may notice overlapping themes of pervasive bro culture, poor working conditions and long hours being normalized, and surprisingly large lies.
